Avast BUT(!)

If you have a weaker PC then check out Avira, it runs fine either and is a bit less demanding to your hardware, I used it before all the time.

I used a shit ton of AVs before i settled with AVAST

and Avast wasnt the best a long time ago
it became cool a few years back

i used

NOD32 (Slovak Anti-Virus)
BitDefender (always fucked up my games by alt-tabbing)
Panda AV (worst AV ever)
AVG (had more holes than an Emental cheese) always some viruses got through
Kaspersky (worked fine but slowed up the pc alot)

and im ashamed of even mentioning it but at one point we used (Norton Anti Virus)
now i call it Norton Virus

now when ever i fix pcs or set them up for people i always recommend avast
and no one compained so far about the choice
