Jonny Quest is a very adventurous teenage boy. He is very confident and always takes care of his friends. If his friends are in trouble, then he's in trouble.
Jonny doesn't necessarily like getting into trouble, but trouble really seems to like him.
With his father, Dr. Quest, being a world famous scientist, he gets to travel a lot. His father does a lot of paranormal and technological science, so he gets to visit a large range of different places in the world and gets to see a wide range of different things. Of course, somewhere along the way danger finds them and the real adventure begins.
Jonny could be described as the All American Boy. He has the whole blond hair, blue-eyed, lop-sided grin thing going on. He's average/kinda tall for his age and is very athletic and out going. He is very caring. He loves his dad, admires his friends, and adores his life. He doesn't take one breath for granted and lives every second to the fullest, even if it puts himself in danger. He will do anything to get Hadji, Jessie, Race, Dr. Quest, or even Bandit out of harms way. He isn't the type of guy that will let fear get the better of him.
His character has grown up a lot since the classic versions of the show. Not only is he 5 or so years older, but he has the maturity of a 20 year old. Well, for the most part, at least. Although he may not always know what he wants in life or how to look at it, he always just goes for it and does what his heart tells him to do, although it sometimes leads him into trouble.
He has a level head and is an important part of the Quest Team.
